Source came to Ramotion mid-repositioning. The company had found its market in edge and local-first compute, but its website, built by the founders as a landing page before product-market fit still described a Web3 project. We rebuilt the brand and site around the new category, architecting a path for edge-compute buyers without abandoning the existing Web3 audience.

The positioning held. Source now leads with edge-first data management across every public channel, and DefraDB reached v1.0 in June 2026 - its first production-ready release after 25 pre-production versions and 1,750+ commits.
